BlackRock's BUIDL fund has officially launched on Solana, marking its seventh blockchain deployment. The expansion comes as the fund's total AUM crossed $2.1 billion, solidifying its position as the largest tokenized treasury product.

The Solana integration uses Securitize's cross-chain infrastructure, enabling near-instant settlement for institutional investors already onboarded to the fund. Transfer agent duties remain with Securitize, maintaining the same compliance framework across all chains.

Industry analysts note this move signals growing institutional comfort with Solana's stability following its network improvements in late 2025.
